Day 1

Arrival in Gangtok – Gateway to the Himalayas

  • Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and enjoy a scenic drive to Gangtok (120 km / 4.5 hrs).
  • Check in to your cozy hotel and unwind after your journey.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure – explore MG Marg, sip on local tea, or simply enjoy the cool mountain breeze.
  • Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2

Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion (Optional Nathula Pass)

  • After breakfast, head to the stunning Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake), a glacial wonder surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
  • Visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine dedicated to an Indian soldier believed to protect the region.
  • Enjoy free time in the evening for shopping at Lal Bazaar or trying authentic Sikkimese cuisine.
  • Optional: Visit Nathula Pass (14,000 ft.), a high-altitude mountain pass on the India-China border (for Indian nationals only, at an additional cost; closed on Mon & Tue).
  • Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Transfer to Darjeeling – The Queen of Hills

  • After breakfast, depart for Darjeeling (117 km / 5 hrs), passing through lush tea gardens and picturesque landscapes.
  • Check in to your hotel and relax.
  • Spend the evening at leisure – take a romantic walk around Mall Road, visit a charming café, or soak in the mountain vibes.
  • Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Darjeeling Local Sightseeing – A Day in the Clouds

  • Visit the historic Ghoom Monastery and the fascinating Batasia Loop.

    • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute – A museum showcasing the region’s mountaineering history. (Closed on Thursdays)

    • Japanese Peace Pagoda – A serene Buddhist temple offering panoramic views.
    • Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center – A hub for Tibetan handicrafts.

Departure – A Heart Full of Memories
