Day 1

Arrival in Leh

  • Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh, and transfer to the hotel.
  • Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude.
  • In the evening, explore the Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa for stunning panoramic views.
  • Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in Leh.
Day 2

Leh Local Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, proceed for a full-day Leh sightseeing tour.
  • Visit Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh.
  • Explore Thiksey Monastery, a beautiful 12-story complex resembling the Potala Palace.
  • Visit Shey Palace, the former royal residence, and see the 12-meter-high Shakyamuni Buddha statue.
  • Stop at the Sindhu Ghat, a serene riverside spot by the Indus River.
  • Return to the hotel in Leh for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3

Leh to Nubra Valley (via Khardung La)

  • After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley, crossing Khardung La Pass (5,359m), one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
  • Visit the Diskit Monastery, home to the 32-meter Maitreya Buddha statue.

  • Check-in at a camp/hotel, have dinner, and stay overnight in Nubra Valley.
Day 4

Turtuk Excursion (The Last Village)

Day 5

Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (via Shyok Route)

Day 6

Pangong Lake to Leh (via Chang La Pass)

  • En route, visit the 3 Idiots’ shooting point, a famous Bollywood location.

Departure from Leh
