Day 1

Arrival at Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong (100 km / 3 hrs)

  • Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and proceed towards Shillong, the "Scotland of the East."
  • En route, visit Umiam Lake, a beautiful reservoir surrounded by lush green hills.
  • Upon arrival in Shillong, check in to the hotel.
  • The evening is free to explore Police Bazaar, Shillong’s vibrant shopping and food hub.
  • Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 2

Shillong – Excursion to Cherrapunji (60 km / 2 hrs One Way)

  • After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.
  • Visit:
    • Nohkalikai Falls – India's tallest plunge waterfall.
    • Mawsmai Caves – Stunning limestone caves with stalactites and stalagmites.
    • Seven Sisters Falls – A breathtaking waterfall cascading down a lush green valley.
    • Eco Park – Offers panoramic views of Bangladesh plains.
  • Return to Shillong by evening.
Day 3

Shillong Sightseeing – Laitlum Canyons & Krang Suri Falls (Optional Mawlynnong & Dawki)

Shillong to Guwahati (100 km / 3 hrs) – Guwahati Sightseeing

    • Umananda Temple – Located on Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River.
    • Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra – A cultural museum showcasing Assam’s heritage.
  • Enjoy an optional Brahmaputra River cruise in the evening.
  • Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Departure from Guwahati
